FAQs
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions with children most often take place at your home, as this is where most children feel most comfortable. However, parent consultations can be done in any convenient location (home, office, coffee shop) or even by phone. We will do our best to work around your schedule and location needs.
How long does a typical session last?
Consultations are typically 1.5 hours and all future sessions are 1 hour. This can vary based on your needs, but each session with a child typically includes a 15-30 minute debrief with parents.
How many sessions does my family need?
Every family, child and situation is different, and we create an individualized treatment plan to best meet your needs. We see some children and parents for only one session, while we see others on an on-going basis.
Do you accept health insurance?
We do not accept health insurance, but we will work with your family to create a payment plan if needed.
How much does a session cost?
Please call us to discuss pricing. We provide the initial phone intake (15 minutes) free of charge.
